2021 Scores from James Suckling: Coral Duero’s exceptional wines

Hong Kong-based American wine critic James Suckling released several reports on the latest wines he had sampled, including Coral Duero wines. Our references have achieved high ratings, with all wines tasted scoring above 90 points.
Las Parvas 2016 – 91 pts.
Blackberry, cedar and light vanilla aromas follow through to a medium body with firm tannins and a chewy finish. Wood coming through now. A year or two of bottle age will help. Try after 2022.
Rompesedas 2017 – 91 pts.
Aromas of blackberries and currants with some dark bark follow through to a medium body with plenty of fruit and berry character. Lightly chewy tannins. Drink or hold.
Salgadero 2017 – 91pts.
A poised and solid red with berries and hints of milk chocolate. Then it turns to pure fruit. It’s medium-to-full-bodied with a polished, fruit finish. Drink now.
